I got ‘A Whole Life’ by Robert Seethaler as a Christmas present from one of my favourite friends. I read it as soon as I got it, in one day, which rarely happens for me. When we let go of mind-consciousness we do not become a meditative vegetable, instead, we gain access to the consciousness of our whole body and a more advanced awareness. I know it sounds weird, but it works. When I can stay present everything I do becomes more effective, and my social skills are way better now then they have ever been.
The first 150 pages of this one were so damn creepy and I was completely sucked into the story but the ending (or more like the epilogue) *really* ruined things for me. I feel like the stories are always super unique and well thought out and then it's always the same ending. I wish I would find a thriller I really love soon, it's getting annoying.
